Turkey schnitzel with Texicana salsa

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 turkey schnitzels
  • 500 g whipped cream
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 200 g cheese, Edam or Gouda, grated
  • 1 large bottle(s) of sauce (Texicana Salsa)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

Mix together the whipped cream, crème fraîche, and Texicana salsa sauce. Place the turkey cutlets in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Sprinkle with cheese and let the whole thing sit in the refrigerator, ideally overnight. If you’re in a hurry, you can also let it rest in the refrigerator for a few hours. Bake in the oven at 220°C for about 45 minutes. I recommend serving with basmati rice, but it’s also delicious with spaghetti.
