Turkey Steaks in Chanterelle Whiskey Sauce

Ingredients
 

Turkey steaks

  • 350 g Turkey steaks
  • Salt
  • Pepper

sauce

  • Onion
  • 100 g Chanterelle jar
  • 200 ml Chicken broth
  • 150 ml Cream
  • 2 cl Whiskey

Instructions
 

Turkey steaks

  • Wash the turkey steaks thoroughly, dab them off and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and fry the turkey breast until golden on both sides, remove, wrap in aluminum foil and keep warm in the oven.

sauce

  • Now sauté the peeled, diced onion in the meat stock, add the chanterelles and let sauté a little.
  • Now deglaze with the chicken stock, add the cream and simmer everything until creamy, add the whiskey and season with salt and pepper.
  • If you like, you can also take more whiskey, it depends on your taste.
  • Take the turkey breast steaks out of the foil and let them steep in the sauce.
  • We ate potatoes and Brussels sprouts with it - bon appetit; 🙂
