Turkey strips in curry and banana sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 240 g turkey schnitzel
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 stalk(s) leek, small
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 ml milk, low-fat up to 1.5% fat
  • 4 tbsp peas (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 small banana(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • curry
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Chop the meat into small pieces and fry in oil. Remove the meat from the pan and keep warm. Add the diced carrots and finely chopped leeks to the pan, sauté briefly, and dust with flour. Now add the vegetable stock and semi-skimmed milk and bring to a boil. Season with salt, pepper, and curry powder to taste. Add the peas, banana, and meat to the sauce and bring to a boil. Sprinkle with some chopped parsley to serve. Serve with rice as a side dish (charge extra!) 5.5p at ww
