Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g turkey breast
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 4 medium-sized gherkins
- 250 g mushrooms
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp flour
- 150 ml whipped cream
- 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
- Salt
- pepper
- 1 bunch of parsley
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cut the meat into strips, finely dice the onions and cucumbers, clean and halve the mushrooms, brown the meat in batches in the oil, and season with salt and pepper. Remove the meat from the pan, briefly brown the mushrooms and onions in the frying fat, season, sprinkle with flour, and sweat. Stir in 0.5 l of water and cream, bring to the boil, stir in the mustard, and simmer for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the meat and diced cucumbers, heat through, season with salt, pepper, and a little sugar if desired. Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle over the ragout. Serve with spaetzle or rice and a fresh salad.
