Turkey with Onion and Lime Sauce

The perfect turkey with onion and lime sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Spices for turkey:

  • 3 g Red onions
  • 1,5 Limes
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Food starch
  • 2 tsp Sambal Oelek – red pepper paste
  • Vegetable or chicken broth
  • Salt
  • Curry
  • Cumin
  • Sweet paprika

Garnish:

  • 1 Cup Red lenses

Oil:

  • Rapeseed oil
  1. Cut turkey schnitzel into strips and season. Heat the rapeseed oil in the pan and fry the turkey strips. Cut the onions into strips and sauté with the meat. Add the cornstarch and sambal oelek.
  2. Pour in the broth, add lime juice and honey and let simmer a little more.
  3. Boil the red lentils in salted water as a side dish.
