Turnip greens with potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 370 g pork neck (boneless)
  • 40 g margarine
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 kg turnip greens
  • 500 g potatoes
  • ¼ liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Rinse the meat under cold running water, pat dry, and cut into cubes. Melt the margarine in a roasting pan and lightly brown the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Trim the turnip greens, remove any wilted leaves, wash, and chop. Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes. Add the turnip greens and potatoes to the meat along with water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 60 minutes. Season to taste before serving.
