Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 turnip(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • a few stalks of parsley
  • 5 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Maggi

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Peel the swede, coarsely grate it, and boil it briefly in salted water until it’s still firm to the bite. Peel the onion, dice it, and add it to the salad. Make a dressing with vinegar, oil, water, soy sauce, and sugar. Season to taste with salt, pepper, Maggi seasoning, and paprika. Pour the dressing over the boiled grated swede. Add the finely chopped parsley and mix well. Let the salad marinate for at least 3 hours, tossing occasionally.
