Twin Buns

The perfect twin buns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Dough for twin buns

  • 500 g Spelled flour
  • 0,5 packet Dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil or other
  • 250 ml Lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

For spraying

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0,5 liter Water
  1. Mix the yeast with the oil, salt and lukewarm water.
  2. Gradually add the flour and knead very well.
  3. Let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
  4. Knead again, form rolls of the same size. On a baking sheet lined with baking paper, always place the rolls 2 close to each other. I get 2 pairs out 4 times.
  5. Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200-220c upper and lower heat.

For spraying

  1. Mix the salt with water and sprinkle the rolls with it.
  2. After they have been sprayed, put them in the middle rail. For 20-25 minutes depending on the oven.
  3. Spray again in the oven.
  4. These buns are really super fluffy.
