Twin Buns
The perfect twin buns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough for twin buns
- 500 g Spelled flour
- 0,5 packet Dry yeast
- 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil or other
- 250 ml Lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
For spraying
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0,5 liter Water
- Mix the yeast with the oil, salt and lukewarm water.
- Gradually add the flour and knead very well.
- Let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
- Knead again, form rolls of the same size. On a baking sheet lined with baking paper, always place the rolls 2 close to each other. I get 2 pairs out 4 times.
- Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200-220c upper and lower heat.
For spraying
- Mix the salt with water and sprinkle the rolls with it.
- After they have been sprayed, put them in the middle rail. For 20-25 minutes depending on the oven.
- Spray again in the oven.
- These buns are really super fluffy.
