Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sour cream
- 200 g mayonnaise
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 14 tbsp flour
- 3 cans of tuna, in its own juice
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Drain the tuna thoroughly. Finely chop the onion. Mix both ingredients in a bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix the eggs, sour cream, mayonnaise, baking powder, flour, and salt until smooth. Line a shallow baking dish with baking paper and pour in a thin layer of batter. Spread the tuna and onion mixture on top, then spread the remaining batter over the tuna layer. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes (depending on the oven). Serve the pie in manageable pieces and eaten without cutlery. Serve with tartar sauce and a fresh salad. The fish pie can be served hot or cold. As a starter, the recipe serves 6-8 people; as a main course, it serves 4.
