Turkish crumb biscuits with almonds

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. The dough should not be sticky; add a little more flour if needed. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This will make shaping easier later. Divide the dough into walnut-sized pieces and shape them into balls with your hands, or as desired. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 160°C for about 20-25 minutes, keeping an eye on them. The cookies should remain white on top and pink on the bottom. Do not let them brown, or they will be too dry. Dust with powdered sugar after baking.
