sweet meets salty in a super delicious cookie

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line the baking sheets with baking paper. Crumble the crackers, not too finely, with your hands. Dice the chocolate and toffee into small pieces. In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In another large bowl, cream the butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Stir in the sugars and flavoring and mix on high for about 2 minutes until creamy. Beat in the egg well, then add the milk and mix in. Add the flour mixture and mix until a smooth batter forms. Finally, briefly stir in the chocolate, toffee cubes, and cracker crumbs with a mixer, then mix everything well with a spatula. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the dough, shape into balls, and place on the baking sheet. Bake on the middle rack for about 12 minutes until golden brown. Leave on the baking sheet for 3-4 minutes, then let cool completely on a wire rack. It’s best to let it sit overnight or snack on it right away. Store it in a tin. You can also use just chocolate or just toffee. The toffee will spread a little during baking, but that doesn’t affect the flavor!
