Ingredients for 6 servings:
- ¾ cup sugar, large
- 1 tbsp Flour, heaped
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 6 large apples, Boskop, finely grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup rolled oats, wholegrain
- ¼ cup rolled oats, flower-soft
- ½ cup sugar, brown
- ½ cup flour, type 550
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- Butter, for the mold
Instructions

Combine the sugar, salt, flour, and cinnamon. Finely grate the washed and peeled apples using the grater attachment on a food processor or a slicer. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to coat. Transfer the mixture to a buttered baking dish. For the crumble, mix all ingredients together, add melted butter, and spread the crumble over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at approximately 175-180°C for approximately 30 minutes. The apples should be soft and the crumble should be golden brown. Serves best with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Makes approximately 6 servings. The measuring cup holds approximately 250 ml.
