Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g flour
- 50 g sugar
- 60 g almond(s), peeled, ground
- 120 g butter, room temperature, cut into pieces
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- some powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Make a shortcrust pastry from the following ingredients: Place the flour, butter, sugar, and 1/2 packet of vanilla sugar on a work surface and chop into crumbs with a large knife. Then quickly knead with your hands until you have a smooth and firm dough. Form into pencil-thick rolls and roll them into small pretzels. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes on the middle rack. Mix the powdered sugar with the remaining vanilla sugar and sprinkle over the still-warm pretzels or carefully roll them in it.
