Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 350 g flour or spelt flour
- 200 g butter or margarine
- 15 g yeast
- 2 ½ tbsp sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 egg yolk
- 100 g cream
- 1 can peach(s)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 13 hours
Mix the sugar and yeast well. Chop the butter and flour well, add the yeast and sugar, eggs, egg yolks and cream and knead. Place the dough in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, roll out the dough on a floured surface about 5 mm thick and use a glass to cut out round circles about 8 cm long. Cut the peaches into thin slices and place them on the circles. Fold the circles together (to create half-moons), sticking only the ends of the pastry together, leaving the middle open, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes until light golden brown and dust with powdered sugar. The pastries taste best when fresh.
