Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 250 g mascarpone
- 4 egg whites
- 120 g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped or 1 tsp flavoring
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Mix the quark with the mascarpone and sugar. Add the vanilla seeds or liquid vanilla. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until very stiff. Carefully fold in. Spoon the cream into serving bowls and chill for at least 2 hours. Variation: You can also make great layered desserts with this, for example, in tall glasses, then alternate between fruit mixtures (raspberries, sour cherries) and crumbled ladyfingers.
