Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 150 g almonds, peeled, finely grated
- 375 g flour
- 1 pinch of ammonium bicarbonate
- ½ tsp water
- 60 g chocolate, dark
- 10 g butter
- n. B. Water, approx. 2 – 3 tbsp
- Grease for the tray

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
Christmas cookies
Cream the butter until fluffy, then gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, almonds, flour, and ammonium chloride dissolved in water. If the dough isn’t firm enough, chill it briefly. Then fill the dough into a pastry bag, pipe small rings onto a greased (or parchment-lined) baking sheet, and chill the baking sheet until firm. Bake the vanilla rings in a preheated oven (approx. 200-220°C top/bottom heat) until light brown. Then carefully remove them from the baking sheet and cover half of them with the glaze prepared from the listed ingredients.
