Vanilla semolina porridge with fruit

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 tbsp semolina (soft wheat semolina)
  • 1 tbsp wheat bran or oat bran
  • 200 ml milk (vanilla milk) from the tetra pack
  • 1 kiwi(s)
  • 1 nectarine(s)
  • possibly cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

delicious start to the day

Pour the vanilla milk into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Whisk in the semolina and bran vigorously until the porridge reaches the right consistency. Since the amount is more of an estimate, add a little more semolina if needed. Set the finished porridge aside. Peel the kiwi and cut into pieces as desired, wash the nectarine and also chop it finely. Place both in a bowl and spoon the semolina porridge over the porridge. If you like, garnish with chocolate sprinkles, almond flakes, cinnamon sugar, or stir in a dash of cream, as vanilla milk is often only available skimmed, i.e. with very little fat. Of course, you can substitute any fruit; you can also make the porridge with regular milk and a little cocoa powder. Banana would certainly taste delicious with this.
