Vanilla strawberry pudding

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 80 g starch flour
  • 70 g sugar
  • 30 g vanilla sugar
  • n. B. Vanilla powder from the mill
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 2 m.-sized eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Wash the strawberries, removing the stems and blossom ends. Cut 2/3 of the strawberries into very small pieces and 1/3 into slices for decoration. Separate the eggs. Mix 80g of cornstarch with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the egg yolks and about 200ml of the milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Bring the remaining milk to a boil. Remove the milk from the heat and stir in the cornstarch. Bring back to a boil briefly. Stir in the chopped strawberries and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Let the pudding cool and decorate with the strawberry slices.
