Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 organic orange(s)
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp mustard
- 2 dashes lemon juice
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
Wash the orange in hot water and grate the zest, then squeeze out the juice. Combine the zest and juice, stir in the sugar, and dissolve. Meanwhile, split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Add the seeds to the orange juice. Pour in the oil, add the mustard, and lemon juice. Season the vinaigrette with salt and pepper to taste. This vinaigrette pairs particularly well with winter salads like lamb’s lettuce.
