- 100 g powdered sugar (icing sugar)

- 250 ml milk
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
- Butter, for the waffle iron
- Powdered sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until very fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Combine the flour and baking powder, then stir in the flour alternately with the milk. Heat up the waffle iron, grease it, and spread about 2 tablespoons of the batter on the iron. Each waffle takes about 2-3 minutes. Place on a wire rack to cool. If you want to enjoy the waffles warm, keep them warm in the oven at about 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit) and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. They also taste delicious with jam or chocolate hazelnut spread.
