Vanilla yogurt pudding

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of pudding powder, vanilla
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 400 g yogurt (10%)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the two packets of vanilla pudding with the sugar and milk until you have an extra thick cream. Stir the yogurt into the still-hot pudding, let it cool, then turn it out and serve just like pudding (fresh fruits like strawberries, red currants or raspberries can be added as a garnish). Tip: I always cook the pudding in the microwave using the following procedure: I bring the milk and sugar to the boil in the microwave, then add the pudding powder that I have dissolved in a little of the milk I have previously removed, leave the whole thing in the microwave for 30 seconds, then whisk vigorously and then for another 30 seconds. Depending on the amount, the pudding will then take about 2-3 minutes. Oh yes, the pudding powder and the removed milk go into an empty screw-top jar (jam jar), shake the whole thing well and then stir it into the hot milk. This has the advantage that the pudding does not stick or burn. If you cook a little more of this cream, it is enough for a strawberry yogurt cake.
