Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 bags of mashed potato powder
- 2 packs of frozen buttered vegetables (or other vegetables) 450 g each
- 1 package cheese, grated
- e.g. bratwurst, grilled meat leftovers or Leberkäse

Get rid of the grill leftovers – done quickly
Prepare 2 bags of mashed potatoes according to the package instructions (leftover mashed potatoes from the day before are also fine). Sauté 2 packages of frozen buttered vegetables. This is our favorite way. Alternatively, precook other frozen vegetables (or any leftover vegetables you have). Chop up leftover roasted/grilled meat and/or sausages. No grilled leftovers? Simply fry some meatloaf; it tastes great too. Layer everything in the casserole dish like this: mashed potatoes, pieces of meat/sausage, vegetables, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place everything in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. This casserole is easily adapted to use up any leftovers.
