Vegan apple strudel with marzipan

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of vegan puff pastry, 275 g
  • 200 g marzipan, vegan
  • 2 large apples
  • 50 g tiger nuts
  • Water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the apples and cut into small pieces. Chop the nuts. Cut the marzipan into small pieces as well. Mix everything together in a bowl and then wrap it in the puff pastry. Prick the strudel a few times with a fork and brush with water. Bake the strudel for about 30 minutes at 200°C fan-assisted oven (220°C top/bottom heat). Cheaper puff pastry and marzipan are often vegan.
