Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 240 g kidney beans
  • 120 g beluga lentils
  • 150 g oats or oat flakes
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 3 tsp paprika powder
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 9 hours 20 minutes

made from kidney beans and beluga lentils

Soak the beluga lentils in water for a few hours or overnight. The next day, drain the lentils and beans in a sieve. Blend with the remaining ingredients in a blender and then transfer everything to a large bowl. Add the spices and mix. Form 8 patties and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (convection oven) for approximately 1 hour on the middle rack. Turn the patties halfway through.
