Vegan: Herb Side Dish

The perfect vegan: herb side dish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 quarter White cabbage
  • 20 g Alsan Bio
  • 1 tbsp My vegetable broth *
  • 1 tbsp ***************************
  • 200 g Veggi meat loaf
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 10 g Alsan Bio
  • 2 tbsp Whole or ground caraway seeds
  1. Remove the outer leaves from a head of cabbage and cut off 1/4 of them, cut away the stalk, if there is one (comes in my collecting bag in the freezer and is processed into vegetable stock), cut the cabbage into small pieces. Heat the Alsan in a pan and braise the cabbage in it. Season with the vegetable stock and stew.
  2. At the same time, heat a second pan in which Alsan is heated, and sear the onion (here I cut it in half slices). Add the chopped Veggi meat loaf and braise everything together well.
  3. I then add that to the cabbage, pour about 2 small cups of water, add the cumin – if you don’t like it, leave it out or grind it with difficulty – and let everything simmer for a good 20 minutes.
  4. During this time I peeled potatoes and carrots and cooked them … they came with it 🙂
