Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 60 g margarine, vegan
- 2 tbsp flour
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 200 ml soy cream (Soy Cream Cuisine) or rice, spelt, or oat cream
- 1 shot of white wine, vegan
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 pinch of turmeric
- e.g. salt and pepper
- e.g. nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Melt the margarine in a saucepan. Slowly stir in the flour and sauté briefly. Slowly add the vegetable stock and soy cream or other cream to the roux, stirring constantly. Add the white wine, lemon juice, and mustard. Finally, season to taste and bring the sauce to a boil briefly. This sauce goes well with vegetables, potatoes, or rice.
