Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of espresso
  • 200 ml almond milk (almond drink), unsweetened
  • e.g. xylitol (sugar substitute)
  • 1 shot of liqueur (Baileys Almande, Licor 43, Amaretto), optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

without soy milk

Brew the espresso; in the meantime, warm the almond milk in a saucepan. While the milk is still lukewarm, froth it thoroughly with a milk frother and heat it to the desired temperature. Pour the milk and froth into a large glass and carefully pour in the espresso. Almond milk froths just as well as cow’s milk. Variation: Replace approximately 70 ml of almond milk with hazelnut milk. Sweeten to taste. A dash of the optional liqueurs mentioned above can also be added.
