with dried fruits, nuts and almonds

Chop the dried fruit into small pieces or grind it in a meat grinder or blender and mix it in a bowl with the spices, sesame seeds, and flour. Grate the apples and mix them with the beet syrup. Grind the nuts and almonds and mix them with the mixture. Pour the mixture about 1-1/2 cm high onto half a baking sheet or into a baking dish. This is easier with wet hands or a wet spoon. If desired, add a handful of roughly chopped hazelnuts to the dough and bake at 160-175°C for about 25 minutes. Once cooled, cut into pieces. They will keep in a tin for about 3 weeks.
