Vegetable gratin

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg broccoli
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 250 g zucchini
  • 375 ml sweet cream
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and trim the vegetables. Divide the broccoli into small florets and thinly slice the carrots. Cut the zucchini into 1 cm thick slices. Bring salted water to a boil, add the broccoli and carrots, and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Add the zucchini slices and cook for 1 minute. Drain the vegetables in a colander, then transfer to a lightly greased baking dish. Mix the cream and grated cheese and season well with salt and pepper. Spread the sauce over the vegetables and bake in the top of a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes. I make this dish as a main course. If you want it as a side dish, you should, of course, use less vegetables and cream.
