Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 250 ml cooking cream
- 1 small bell pepper(s), red
- 1 small zucchini
- 10 slices of bacon
- ½ jar red pesto
- 5 slices of Edam cheese
- Gratin cheese
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Finely chop the vegetables, mix with the minced meat and a moderate amount of salt, pepper, and paprika, and season to taste. Divide into 5 portions and shape into large rolls. Lay two slices of bacon side by side and wrap the minced meat rolls in them, then place in a narrow baking dish. Mix the cooking cream and pesto together and pour over the rolls. Depending on the baking dish, the required amount of cream and pesto may vary; the rolls should be covered about halfway. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan/convection oven. Place a slice of Edam cheese on each roll and sprinkle with gratin cheese. Bake for approximately 35 minutes.
