Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 zucchini or eggplant(s), thicker
- 1 small jar of Ajvar
- 2 slices of ham or salami
- 50 g cheese, grated
- some pizza seasoning or herbs de Provence
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the vegetables and cut into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Then place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the slices with ajvar. Cut the ham or salami into small cubes and place them on the slices. Finally, sprinkle with cheese. Season to taste. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C fan/convection oven) on the middle rack for approximately 10 minutes. Delicious warm as a side dish or cooled.
