Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 230 g butter
  • 180 g cooking chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 kg cream cheese
  • 300 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Sheet cake

For the dark cake, melt the butter and cooking chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Mix the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until the mixture is quite thick. Mix together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the chocolate butter, milk, and flour mixture to the egg mixture in a mixer and mix everything well. Set aside about 6 tablespoons of batter for the marbling and place the remaining batter on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. For the light cake, mix the cream cheese with the sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar well. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate batter and create a pattern with the reserved chocolate batter. Bake the cake at 175°C (fan oven) for 30-40 minutes.
