Vegetable relish with peppers and mushrooms

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 5 mushrooms
  • 1 small bottle(s) of tomato sauce with basil
  • 1 tbsp mango chutney, spicy
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. cayenne pepper
  • n. B. sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

vegetarian

Dice the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté in hot olive oil. After about 10 minutes, add the tomato sauce, mango chutney, and seasoning. Simmer gently for about 30 minutes and season to taste. Blend in a blender until the desired consistency is reached. We eat it as a side dish with steak instead of using a ready-made sauce.
