Vegetable stew with Mettendchen

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ zucchini
  • 6 heads of broccoli
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 tsp, heaped vegetable paste
  • 4 Mettenden, smoked

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel all the vegetables. Cut the potatoes and carrots into finger-thick pieces, and the onions into large pieces. Slice the zucchini, then cut them into quarters. Make a broth from the water and vegetable paste. Add the potatoes to the pot with the vegetable broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Slice the meatballs. Then add the carrots, onions, zucchini, broccoli, and meatballs to the potatoes. Simmer the stew for about 15 minutes.
