Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 3 tsp, heaped flour
  • some oil
  • ¼ ml water, hot, or less
  • 8 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • some basil
  • 50 ml cream
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • lots of cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. In a large pot, whisk together the flour and a little oil. Add the tomato paste and ketchup and bring to a boil with the water. You can add more tomato paste to taste. Chop the onions and cherry tomatoes and add them to the sauce. Add the cream, season with salt and pepper, and finally add the basil. Add the drained pasta to the sauce, mix well, transfer everything to a baking dish, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown. Tip: If you like, you can also add various vegetables to the tomato sauce, such as zucchini and fresh mushrooms.
