Vegetarian Spread
The perfect vegetarian spread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Pine nuts
- 0,25 Mozzarella
- Basil
- Thyme
- Rosemary
- 4 teaspoon Olive oil
- Roast the pine nuts without oil in the coated pan. It is best to stop as the pine nuts burn very quickly. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and place in a bowl. Add the olive oil, herbs and chopped tomatoes. Finally add the cooled pine nuts and stir, leave everything to stand for at least 15 minutes.
- If you wish, you can season the vegetarian spread with salt and pepper. Since I used the spread for a children’s breakfast with 10 children, I completely avoided salt and pepper. The spread was well received by the children and they wanted more 🙂
