- 4 steak(s), tender venison fillet, approx. 4 cm thick
- 4 tbsp whiskey
- 4 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 100 g herb butter

Wash the steaks, pat dry, drizzle with whiskey on both sides, and let them rest, covered, for about 45 minutes. Brush the meat with oil, season with pepper, and place it on the hot grill. Grill both sides for about 4 minutes. The meat should be crispy brown on the outside and still slightly pink on the inside. After grilling, season with salt, place ice-cold herb butter slices on top, and serve immediately.
