Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1,500 g potatoes
- 1 liter buttermilk
- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp flour
- Salt
- pepper
- oil
- Sugar
Instructions

Grate the peeled, raw potatoes and squeeze out the juices. Add buttermilk, finely grated onions, flour, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar, and mix everything together. Pour the mixture into the pan, smooth it out, and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve with sugar, applesauce, any kind of compote, or with savory dishes such as roast pork or mushrooms.
