Vroni's beef and bean stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions
  • 3 roulade(s) , (beef roulades)
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 750 g beans, fresh (bush beans)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • some tomatoes, dried, pickled in oil
  • 1 tbsp soup seasoning
  • 2 sprigs savory
  • 1 pinch(s) of oregano
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onions and fry in the margarine. Cut the roulades into strips, add the meat to the onions, and fry until nicely browned. Season with salt and pepper. Trim and tear the beans into pieces and add them to the meat. Crush the garlic clove. Dice the carrot and add it to the pot. Continue frying everything. Deglaze with the white wine. Add the savory and oregano. Season with the soup seasoning. Cover and simmer over low heat until the meat is tender, then add the diced bell pepper and simmer for a few more minutes. Finally, stir in the sun-dried tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Serve with mashed potatoes or simply with baguette or ciabatta.
