Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g sugar
  • 500 g butter
  • 8 eggs
  • 1,000 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 2 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Melt the butter. Combine the sugar, butter, and eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder, and rum. Mix. Then stir in the milk until the batter falls heavily from the spoon. Because of the butter in the batter, you don’t really need to grease the waffle iron. Makes about 30 waffles.
