Ingredients for 4 servings:
- Fat
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 300 g onion(s)
- Garlic
- 250 g liver(s)
- 250 g pork (loin or shoulder)
- Salt
- pepper
- Vinegar
- Soup
- some flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Brown the sugar in hot fat. Chop the onion and garlic and fry them. Slice the liver, loin, or shoulder and fry them in the pan, dusting with a little flour. Pour in water and roast in the oven for about 45 minutes. Finally, season with salt and pepper, and pour in the broth. Finally, season with vinegar and, if desired, refine with sour cream or red wine. The Waldviertel region is located in the northwest of Lower Austria, on the border with the Czech Republic.
