with salted butter simply a dream

Mix the yeast and honey and add enough lukewarm water until the yeast has dissolved. Add the salt, oil, nuts and the dissolved yeast to the flour. Gradually add the water. Using a dough hook, knead the dough into a smooth dough. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 50 minutes. Knead with your hands on a floured surface and form into 2 logs. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and let it rise for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 220°C and place a heatproof container filled with hot water on the bottom. Bake the bread for 40-50 minutes. It’s done when you tap the underside of the bread at the end of the baking time and it sounds hollow. Tastes delicious with salad or a hearty chili con carne, or simply spread with salted butter.
