Walnut maple syrup muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 90 g butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 ml maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 12 half walnuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper baking cups. Roughly chop the walnuts. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl, then mix with a pinch of salt and the chopped nuts. In another bowl, whisk the egg with the butter, milk, maple syrup, and sugar. Add the flour mixture and fold in. Pour the batter into the muffin tin and top each with half a walnut for decoration. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes at 180°C (convection oven) (test with a toothpick). Makes approximately 12 muffins.
