Walnut-Orange Butter

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, soft
  • ½ orange(s), untreated
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Place the softened butter in a bowl. Wash half an orange in hot water and dry it. Finely grate the zest and squeeze out the juice. Add both ingredients to the butter and knead well. Grate the walnuts as finely as possible or chop them very finely with a knife. Stir the walnuts into the butter and season with cayenne pepper. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
