Warm chocolate cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 60 g sugar
  • 50 g flour
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • Butter for the molds

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with liquid chocolate core – enough for 2 small cakes

Melt the chocolate and butter over a bain-marie, then let cool for 10 minutes. Beat the egg, egg yolk, and sugar until light yellow, then add to the chocolate-butter mixture. Finally, stir in the flour. Pour into two 7.5 cm diameter baking dishes, grease them with butter and sprinkle with cocoa powder. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for approximately 12-15 minutes. They’re done when they rise slightly. Best enjoyed warm—on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
