Warm salmon toasts / sandwiches

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) toast bread (spelled toast bread)
  • 200 g smoked salmon or salmon trout
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 2 spring onions
  • 100 g cream cheese or plant-based / vegan spread
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely dice or grate all ingredients, except the toast slices, mix with the cream cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Spread this on half of the toast slices, then cover with the remaining slices. Place one slice of toast in the preheated waffle iron and let it crisp up. Serve with a small salad of your choice. You can change the filling for the toast to your liking, with ham, cheese, or just vegetables. Everyone has their own taste. Simply mix a delicious cream and spread it between the slices of toast.
