Warm Tomato and Pepper Sauce

The perfect warm tomato and pepper sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 medium sized Ripe tomatoes
  • 2 Red Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable salt *
  • 1 tsp Real manuka honey
  1. Wash the tomatoes and peppers, completely cut the tomatoes in the blender (Vitamix *), remove the pips and puree everything with the vegetable stock and Manuka honey.
  2. Mix the whole thing briefly with the left switch, then puree the whole thing vigorously for a good 2 minutes with the right turbo switch, the sauce becomes warm due to the resulting heat.
  3. In the Vitamix, the sauce is only warmed up to around 40 degrees, while all vitamins remain intact.
  4. You can also put the sauce in a saucepan and then heat it up if you like it hotter.
  5. You can eat this sauce as a soup, but it is also a great side dish with pasta or rice.
