Wax bean salad with lemon crème fraîche

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar wax beans, approx. 400 g
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • Parsley or herb mixture
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Finely chop the onion and drain the beans in a colander. Place the onions and beans in a bowl with the crème fraîche. Mix with the lemon zest, lemon juice, milk, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Let stand in the refrigerator for 3 hours. To serve, fill the salad into a grilled bell pepper.
