Werner's meatballs…

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp ajvar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Herbs of Provence
  • cumin
  • curry paste
  • Breadcrumbs
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onions. Knead together the ground meat, onion, ajvar, egg, and spices (add the spices carefully first, season to taste). Add enough breadcrumbs to make a meat dough that forms easily. Form small meatballs (about 6 cm) and place a cube of feta cheese in the center of each. Coat in breadcrumbs and fry in olive oil until lightly browned. Serve with a green salad, potatoes, rice, and much more.
