Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg roast beef
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 125 g sour cream, or sour cream
  • 1 jar white wine
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 bunch of parsley

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Brush the beef roast with oil and place it in a roasting pan. Trim and chop the vegetables, and dice the ham. Season with salt and pepper and scatter over the meat. Roast the roast in a covered pan in the oven at 200°C for approximately 75-90 minutes. Mix the cream with the cornstarch to thicken the roasting juices. Then season with white wine and add the chopped parsley.
